We are getting the hang of a 'Rotation' schedule! Its pretty much like having 2 completely different schedules! As soon as I realized it was going to just be that way things started going smoothly. If you are reading this then it isn't a surprise to you that I want to have control over things and I like things done my way... thats just how I am! I'm continuously working on that... baby steps :-) Once I decided to let go and just go with the flow, we started really enjoying our time together no matter which schedule we are on!
When Matts away on the slope we miss him terribly so we alter our schedule to keep us busy, but we have down time for playing, naps, crafts, or even just sit and watch some signing time and all of these things are on a schedule (give or take an hour).
When Matt is home we are on a go go go schedule....... naps, down time, signing time, crafts, even clean up time is on a non existent schedule! (breathe, thats what i tell myself...lol)
In 2 weeks we stayed home for 1 day, it was Saturday when Laela and I were under the weather. Like I said its a completely different schedule BUT we have a blast. We went North to Wasilla, drove to Hatchers Pass, did dinner with friends, we went shopping at tons of new stores around town, went out to eat, went sledding a few times, we had a picnic, went to bouncin' bears, and got a few small projects done. Its never a dull moment; the kids are so versatile and no matter which mode we are in they do excellent. Its really just me that has to remember to just roll with it :-D
